Tasting paddle 1/4.
Lucid, copper beer with powerful, sustained carbonation builds a cotton, cream-colored head that descends gradually to a thin lacing wafting on the surface.
The scent is interesting: a cocktail of toffee, a little bit of caramel and a note of fried mushroom. Sounds odd but is actually quite attractive.
The palate portrays strong brown malt, a tad bread dough and a bit of toffee, seasoned with bitter syrup, a bit of caramel and faint fried mushroom.
The body is light-medium. The beer finishes with bitter brown malt, some bread, bitter caramel and a good injection of lemon peel. The aftertaste vanishes rather rapidly from the tongue.
The mouthfeel is soft and smooth, a bit lip-glueing and somewhat strong.

Not a bad Golden Ale. Smooth, easy drinking. Rather mild pallet. Good as a thirst quencher.
