Backlog from May 15th 2021 vintage Sugar, cinnamon and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has turbinado sugar, cinnamon, coconut and bourbon. I know there's no cinnamon in this, but I'm tasting it. Medium-full body with lower carbonation. Slightly different each time it's made, but a perfect beer year after year. 5/5

2018 vintage We're moving to a bigger place tomorrow, so this will be the last beer I have in this apartment. Figured I'd pull out a great one. This is definitely the best porter I've ever had, and it's probably one of the most unique porters that have been made. 15% abv, very desserty without being cloying, smooth mouthfeel, deceptively hidden alcohol (if I didn't know, and someone told me this was 9% abv, I'd believe them), bursting with flavors of coconut, turbinado sugar and bourbon. The body is full and the carbonation is appropriately low. I currently have 5 different years of this (2016-2020) and I can't wait to continue collecting for an epic vertical down the road. It's been fun, but it's time to move onto the next chapter of my life. Cheers everyone! 5/5

2020 vintage Turbinado sugar and coconut in the aroma. Taste has the turbinado sugar and coconut right up front. Next, I'm getting some bourbon from the barrel aging. Some coffee notes are showing up as this warms up. The body is full, with a thick and smooth mouthfeel and an appropriately lower amount of carbonation. Once again they did a great job on this beer. Sweet, boozy, coconut perfection. Definitely doesn't taste like it's 15%. World class, 5/5

2019 vintage. Taste has coconut, turbinado sugar, coffee, and underneath all that sweetness is bourbon from the barrel aging. Very sweet, very desserty, and very delicious. Amazing and world class. Never disappoints. 5/5

2018 version. Huge coconut in the aroma. A sugary sweetness as well. No bourbon is apparent. Taste has coconut and sugar. Way more coconut than in the 2016 or 2017 versions. 5/5
