Has an slight bitterness to go with the malt taste, not sweet, nothing subtle to it

Impulse purchase from a local supermarket. Once in the USA, I must go for a Malt Liquor. A few of them actually. But tonight only one. I enjoy the beer from a cardboard cup meant for coffee. It doesn't allow me to assess the appearance properly but I can observe from above that the beer pours clear, gold. The carbonation is obviously vivid and rather sustained, judging by the loud fizzy sound. A clean white, tiny-bubbled head emerges on the surface but its height remains unassessable due to the untransparent cup. The scent displays somewhat sweet malt although rather tame. The taste is surprisingly weak with thin pale malt and substantially restrained hops. A metallic tang lingers somewhere in the shadows. I was prepared for much more challenging, boozy punch, but no! I don't 't get any. Instead, the offer is thin. Even the ABV of 6.0 % is wholly disguised; a blind test would make me guess it's 3 %. The body is really thin. The beer finishes with truly timid pale malt and a whisper of hops only. I still get the metallic aroma but milder than upfront. Additionally, I get medium-sweet crackers among the gustatory elements. The aftertaste disappoints the tastebuds for a very short time. The mouthfeel is thin, even somewhat watery, significantly bulky and really industrial. It's uninspiring and very easy. The label art gives an impression of a venomous cobra but the content reveals that it's actually somebody's totally harmless pet snake. What a joke this is!
