Nice hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste with a subtle medicinal tang. Gives way to a nice fruity taste leading to a malty finish. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale, once you get past the medicinal tang, even at the abv. Having said that about the medicinal thing it might be that the glass hadn't long come back from cleaning.
