The Wildeornes is the place of self-willed beasts – a realm without laws or oversight by the gods.  This beer was made in the spirit of the Wildeornes and in the exploratory nature of the Vikings.  Melding tradition with radical new flavors, Wildeornes #3 is a dark brooding winter companion.  Long maturation of our Belgian strong ale in bourbon barrels and a secondary fermentation with wild yeast produces fruit flavors of fig, date, prune and cherry, followed by an unmistakably dry whiskey finish.
