The Viking's sunstone was a calcite crystal used to help locate the sun even in the cloudy northern seas. Artfully crafted and deviously strong, Sunstone Tripel effervesces with white peach, tangerine and clove flavors and is a worthy reward for any storm-drenched Viking's homecoming. The central image on the label is of the runic compass Vegvísir. A piece of Icelandic Spar -a sunstone- may have been placed at the center of the compass to aid in solar navigation.
