When Chuckanut owners Mari & Will were brewing in Istanbul, Turkey, they met Mark owner / brewmaster from Rebellion Brewery in Marlow, England. The Kempers invited Rebellion to come brew in Bellingham at Chuckanut and Mark sent his head brewer Ed for the trip.All the brewers decided to brew the Rebellion Roasted Nuts beer. The complex, intense and distinctive bitter is made with American Cascade and British East Kent Goldings hops. The brewers thought this would be a great American British collaboration so they called it Roasted Chuckanuts!!
