Wandle
3.8% Bitter
3.8% on draught 4.2% in bottles Wandle Ale was the first beer that we brewed and I will never forget the taste of the first brew, produced on 26th November 2008. A beautiful golden sunshine colour with a clean, fresh sweetness cut through by a delicate lingering bitterness. The very thought of it makes me thirsty. The origin of the name ‘Wandle’ is from our local river – a tributary to the Thames just minutes walk from the brewery.

Third pint of it and still decent. Nice malty aroma and taste, with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Subtle sweetness leads to a decent bitterness to finish. Overall, a smooth and easy-drinking session ale that's well balanced.

Di corpo acquoso, al naso speziata e al palato sapida, fruttata e con un accenno di maltatura: un'altra best bitter di qualità direttamente da Londra!

Cheeky one before going home at the end of a not very long day! Bittery, quite lively.
