This annual release nitro porter celebrates the thwarting of an insidious plot attempted by Guy Fawkes & his band of anti-heroes on November 5th, 1605. Fawkes' goal was to blow up the House of Lords with barrels of gunpowder. This year we plotted closely with Anchorhead Coffee Roasters, out of Duvall, to create a perfectly roasted coffee exclusively for this beer. We soaked a portion of those pristine beans in top shelf bourbon, and cellared the whole shebang on criminal amounts of cocoa nibs. In order to unify the flavors and give it that classic British feel we conditioned it on Nitrogen. This beer pairs well with Bangers, treacle toffee or burning your Guy Fawkes on a bon-fire. So quench the conspiracy, light your fires and remember the 5th of November.
