SETT: The base sequence of lines in a Scottish Tartan ​In addition to being a nod to the famous Scottish pattern, a sett appeals to our uninhibited obsession with design. This one was the seventh variation of our original recipe, represented by a tartan design we created from seven lines. This smooth Scottish Strong Ale, or 'Wee Heavy,' gets its signature toasted caramel flavor from the addition of brown sugar during an extended boil. A malt forward ale, Sett Seven is just lightly hopped with English varieties.
