Our Autumn seasonal. We used English Marris Otter with a touch of rye and caramel malt to create the malt base that reminds of pie crust, then added in Willamette and Kent Golding hops. To add the spice component, we used ground Saigon Cassia cinnamon, organic ground Peruvian Ginger, ground Grenada nutmeg, ground Jamaican allspice berries, organic Madagascar vanilla beans and pureed pumpkin. The result is a balanced and drinkable spiced ale. Have some before winter comes, and don't anger the Scarecrow!
