Brewed in collaboration with Wynkoop Brewing Company (Denver), this beer will give hop lovers just the kick they're craving. The deep reddish-brown hue comes from the dark malts used and there's a nice, slightly caramelized hoppy flavor, but the brewers took care to get more color than roast from the dark malts used. They wanted to leave the bittering to the hops, and we think they've succeeded brilliantly, with a bright, floral, hop-forward character throughout and a citrus finish.
