A clean and refreshing base beer common amongst craft lagers was used and supplemented with a healthy addition of apple cider (enough to give it a strong apple flavor and aroma but not enough to make the TTB shut us down). Any further on the apple addition and we might get into trouble. Not bitter and not too dry, this beer drinks like a cider.
