Vanilla Rum Porter—coming this winter—Our Pyramid Peak Porter aged in Colorado Whiskey barrels we received from our friends at Montanya Rum Distillery in Crested Butte. These barrels aged Colorado Whiskey for two or more years, then three batches of Montanya's Oro Dark Rum before finding there way to Aspen Brewing Company. We added fresh Pyramid Peak Porter and organic vanilla beans to the barrels and let it age for six months. Perfect brew for apres ski.
