On Christmas Eve in 1955, Sutter County was plagued with a flood that took lives, injured thousands, and caused damage in excess of $2.5 billion dollars (calculated with inflation). This beer was brewed to remember those that were lost and those that persevered through the flood to later help build the strong community we now enjoy in Sutter County today.
