A 'Colonial America' Porter, a robust brew with a moderate to heavy mouth feel, very deep brown in color, and imminently drinkable. Featured in the brew are hand toasted oat flakes and molasses. Made to be a formidable beer to ward off winter's chill. The flavor is a complex array of dark chocolate, espresso, and dark dried fruit. Your friends never tasted so good!

At my sister's house on the Guadalupe River in Texas. Going to try a few beers while I'm here that I can't get at home.
The brewery, Fifty Fifty Brewing Company, changed the formula for this porter. It is 7.2% versus the 6.8% on the previous beers.
Pours with almost no head, very little carbonation. Clear color but an extremely dark blood red. Almost no aroma. Texture is thin for a porter. Taste starts as a somewhat bitter dark chocolate then slowly transforms into a burnt coffee. Finish continues as moderately bitter but more of a roasted coffee that leaves your mouth dry.
Decent brew but I wouldn't want to have this with my dinner, or become one.

Mustaa. Beigellä vaahdolla. Tuoksu paahtunutta kaakaota. Maku paahdettua kaakaota ja suklaata. Pehmeä maku. Aavistuksen savuinen.
Hyvä olut.
