
Ephesus (Eff-e-sus) is a Golden Sour Ale (7% ABV) fermented with our house cultures and aged in American oak barrels for one year. This deceptively mild looking beer is intensely sour with complex notes of ripe peach, pear, vanilla, and honey, and finishes with a dry yet full mouth feel. Pour slowly and enjoy in a tulip glass.
Batch #1 (released February 26, 2016) was brewed in December 2014, fermented with a mix of Saccharomyces, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and Pediococcus, bottled in December 2015, and conditioned in bottles for 2 months prior to release.
