Barista Coffee Lager
6.5% Amber Lager / Vienna Lager
A collaboration brew with Ann Arbor's RoosRoast featuring locally roasted Colombian coffee. This brew took gold at the 2015 World Expo of Beer! Wolverine Brewer Karl Hinbern, once in the coffee roasting business himself, spearheaded the coffee side of this beer, finally selecting a Colombian Excelso bean roasted at Roos. Part beer, part coffee, what's not to love?

I'm interested to see what I think about this one. I had it 3+ years ago and didn't care for it. It was recently given to me as a thank you beer from a beer share I attended. Let's see how it goes this time...
I'm not gonna waste much time on this. It's pretty much the same as last time. Coffee and a weird sweetness. I'll finish it, but I'm not drinking it again. At least I don't hate it as much this time around. 2.5/5

Not a fan of this one. Weird flavor. Very faint coffee with a weird sweetness following. 2/5
Edit: This was bottled over a year ago, so based on my last review, fresh is probably best with this one

Nice light black coffee aroma. Taste is of coffee as well. Black coffee, but light in taste, if that makes sense. Honestly, it tastes like what a lager mixed with coffee would taste like. Not bad. Worth trying for sure, and while I wouldn't go out of my way to find this again, I'd gladly drink it again. 3.5/5
