Sweet aromas of caramel and toffee serve as the perfect precursor to the similar malt flavors within. Accents of floral ginger and smoked malt impact the palate and linger slightly, providing balance through contrast. Aged in Bourbon barrels for 9 months, wonderful flavor additions of vanilla and charred oak complement the sweet malt backbone and play perfectly to the underlying smokiness of this ale.
