This is our version of a German-Style Rauchbier. It is an amber lager brewed using 50% Beechwood smoked malt, German pilsner and a touch of dark Munich and de-bittered black malt to give it a bit of color. It has a soft smokey aroma and leaves a nice lingering smoke character on top of the malty finish. This beer has quickly become one of our favorites.
