This black ale has the hop character of an IPA, but little in the way of roasted malt character that its color would suggest. Pours black with hints of ruby around the edges, with notes of flowers, citrus, and stone fruit in the nose. Predominant peach and citrus move across the palate, finishing with a smooth, light, chocolate character.
