A deep chestnut ale, perfect for enjoying by the fire place on the crisp wintery evenings leading up to Christmas.

A deep chestnut coloured ale, perfect for enjoying by the fire. Brewed with the finest English malted barley and local hops. Has a refreshing fruity nose, a sweet liquorice flavour and a rich dark chocolate aftertaste.

A decent drink with a nice creamy mouthfeel. It has a malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. There is a slight chocolate taste, but it is very subtle. It has a slightly sweet finish, but with an enjoyable bitterness in the aftertaste. It is a smooth and easy-drinking session ale. Not quite as good as my previous one; in fact, I wish I'd tried them the other way around. Having said that, it's still very drinkable.
