Seriously impressed with this! Brewed with American Chinook hops, this has a powerful fruity and bitter hoppy flavour with a citrus spicy finish. Very moreish, this is a beer with a punch!

Smelled like beer and tasted like .....beer. For a 6%ale it had the punch but no flavour.
Chugged it but purely because I hate waste.
Update, no wonder it's taste free, its brewed from American hops. Never yet had a US brew with any taste.🤨

New beer, new brewery too…
I’m well read on Burton in respect to brewing history, it’s contribution/influence on modern day consumption and everything in between, absolutely fascinates me to be honest. First time I’ve heard of this brewery though so well intrigued when I saw it.
It’s a grower, starts off testing the palate but ends up being well received.
Think a hybrid WCIPA and an American Barleywine, in sessionable format, that’s what this is.
It’s actually really good and a great showcase for what Chinook hops can offer. If you’re a fan of the aforementioned styles then you’ll certainly appreciate this. If you’re not, and you like this, then go explore something else, something new!
Smooth, malty, bitterness is punchy, resinous and citrus forward but doesn’t dominate. It’s American influenced but still British at heart.

Been trying mainly light beers this week, and this reminds me that darker beers are my preference. Love this one.
