This black lager was brewed in a very dark couple of weeks at PINTS the Schwarzbier is an interesting creature.   Schwarzbiers look dark, but don't have a stout or porter flavor to them. What they do have is a clean, light malt sweetness from the Pilsner and Munich malts, a gentle roasted note from the Carafa II and moderate bitterness and hop flavor (German Magnum and Hallertauer respectively).
