6.5% Saison / Farmhouse Ale
Fisherman enjoy a beverage while casting away. Weather fishing or imbibing, there are limits, whether it be a 5 leader or 5 liters. Saisons were brewed back in the day for farm workers with a 5 liter daily limit, a satiating standard that would allow for ample thirst quenching in any condition while still being able to complete the task at hand, both then and now. Our session-style Szechuan Brett was designed to do just that. whether farming or fishing, a little lighter beer extends the limit, a little pepper spice provides a little more character without over doing. What ever your limit is, enjoy our Czech 'n Brett, have a good catch, we do!

The best Saison I've ever tasted is brewed by Logsdon. And I love Brett beers. So I'm expecting a lot from this one. Bottle. Best before 11/2021 Temperature: +10 C Almost jumped out from the bottle... Extremely large head with lots of carbonation bubbles. Color is deep golden. Good clarity: 3,75/5 Aromas of spicy pepper, interesting ginger as well. Slightly tart fruity aroma and Cripsy maltiness, some dry hay. Basically, no Bretta funkiness that I was expecting. But as a Saison, bloody brilliant. Cripsy pungent, complex and refreshing: 4,5/5 Light body but still there's "levels" in the backbone, high fizzing carbonation. Finishes extremely dry and crisp. Tart feel sticks to the mouth: 4,5/5 Taste starts with again via ginger-like fresh taste and pepper. Touch of something sweet. Tart fruitiness, citrus, crisp malt... Complexity in Saisons is something most breweries are missing, even in Belgium! But this has it. And this has strong multilayered flavors: 13/15 The only thing disappointing to me is the lack of brett characteristics. Tartness and fruitiness really are only possible brett driven things in this one. Other than that, a brilliant Saison! Such a bomb of flavors and most likely goes to my top 3 Saisons ever: 17/20 =42,75/50
