Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

The beer almost jumped out from the bottle... Somewhat cloudy, Yellow-Orange colored beer with tall and long-lasting head. Looks pretty good: 4,25/5
The nose has both Saison and Brettanomyces yeast characteristics. It is peppery spicy with a fruity tart and funky leathery and barnyard aromas. Very Farmhouse-like and very good! 4,5/5
The mouthfeel is a tad too light which lets the alcohol through at some level. This feels like a big beer (and of course it is), making this slow sipper. Not nearly as refreshing as Saison should be IMO. The beer finishes with a tart and dry sensation: 3,25/5
The taste is spicy and malty with a leather and "animal" funkiness strongly present. Also, relatively strong overly ripe fruity flavors which sticks in the mouth a long time after taking a sip: 11,25/15
Not the best from Logsdon, and at some level disappointment. I feel this has a bit too much ABV for a Saison as the beer is not refreshing or easygoing. But the overall picture is complex and it has both Saison and Brettanomyces features, which is nice: 15,5/20

Bottled 03/18 so around three years old.
Came out violently from the bottle with load of foam.
Nice bretta scent and flavour though. Solid saison.

Olut alkaa pikkuhiljaa itsestään puskemaan pullosta ulos korkin avaamisen jälkeen. Selkeästi brettan tekosia.
Olut on nätti utuisen oranssi, jossa on pinnalla todella reilu, kuohuva vaahto.
Tuoksu tarjoilee ihanan funkahtavaa ja tallimaista brettaa. Hieman myös nahkaa. Lisäksi reilusti kypsää hedelmää, mausteisuutta, kepeästi karamellia ja mallasta.
Suutuntuma on odotetun kuohuva ja runsaasti hapotettu. Melko reipas runko tässä, mutta reilun hapotuksen takia tavallaan kepeän tuntuinen.
Maussa alkuu makeaa hedelmäisyyttä, sekä kypsää että tuoretta. Pistelevää pippurisuutta, kevyen hapanta sitruksisuutta ja vihreää omenaa, funkkia happamuutta ja tallia.

Reilusti hapotettu ja vaahtoava olut hienolla vaahtokruunulla! Tuoksussa brettaa, hedelmäisyyttä, sitrusta ja hieman mausteisuutta! Keskitäyteläisessä maussa aavistus karamellista makeutta, pientä sitruksista happamuutta, appelsiinia, persikkaa ja ripaus pippuria! Erittäin pehmeä suutuntuma! Alkoholi tuo lämpöä melko kuivaan ja sitruksiseen jälkimakuun! Huippuluokan saison jenkkilästä!
