Holy Joe 4.9%, Yates' Brewery, England

Holy Joe
4.9% Golden Ale / Blond Ale
Golden, with lots of citrus immediately evident in the aroma, and subtle malt emerging later. Plenty of bitterness features in the mouth along with slightly toasted, sweet malt flavours, pronounced tangy-citrus notes and spicy coriander. Bitter, hoppy, spicy and lightly toasted finish.

Bottle-500ml. Good. Fairly dark in colour for a Golden/Blonde Ale, quite full in flavour too. This was the first time drank and it was in June 2024.

Brewed on the isle of Wight. medium-bodied and very light and lifting on the palate, this is a fine beer with a citrus-theme and a touch of spice, albeit a bit sweet on balance. Recommended 🌞
