A phrase I've always wanted to use. Today, we stopped for lunch in Malibu. Sounds amazing irrespective of the reality. This cafe at Paradise Beach is a slice of classic Americana. Everything gets extra points for being 50's cool. Massive amounts of food and dollars were expended. The beer was ice cold - which may have killed some of the flavour, but there was a pineapple overload along with plenty of hops and a dry finish. Exactly as you'd hope for on the beach in Malibu. Mrs B's cocktail was enough for a small family....as you can see.
