A shit beer in an even shitter pub. It cost £6.30 aswell

A fine wheat beer but I was struggling with identifying the blood orange notes.

Another taster at the Anchor Brewing tap room. It's really a Blond Ale - which has California Orange peel added in the brewkettle and then blood orange fruit added during secondary fermentation. A lovely refreshing beer to drink as the West Coast sunshine washes through the brewery windows. The hops roll in low followed by a slightly blunted citrusy tang. What a great place.....!
