Grabbed a growler of this from the brewery on a rainy summer day. Coppery amber in colour. It's hard to judge head from a growler pour but seems average. Very nice aromas of pine and gentle citrus, with just a mild floral hint in the back. I believe I'm getting some fruity esters nestled in with the malty base. It's so nice these days getting a proper, if amply hopped, IPA. Resinous and bitter with citrus and flor hops. Definite fruity esters which in digging, and a lovely caramel and grain malt. Medium bodied and clean. Solid offering from Riot. The subtler flavors and generous bitterness linger on the aftertaste.
