Pouring the beer you hear the fine fizz and get the flourish of a fruity fragrance that takes my thoughts back more than 60 years when I would crunch and suck on a pineapple cube boiled sweet. My eyebrows raise and eyes open wider with interest. During the pour I let slip some of the sediment and the clear dark straw beverage clouds and darkened a little more and gained some haze. The initial two finger foamy white head didn't last very long. In the mouth it's light, lively and briskly bubbles and effervesces refreshingly over the tongue. Flavour wise upfront the tropical fruit carried through but it's muted. This is quickly followed by a dry citrus edge that's faintly orange. Again this has very little presence in the mouth and though it does linger it's not enterprising or entertaining enough to amuse. Yawn
