It's quite a lively, dark amber ale with a rich, but quite bitter flavour. Slightly hoppy. Going down very well. It's a very acceptable example of a bitter.

A pleasant copper coloured bitter. Hoppy and quite sweet. Easy drinking.

Copper coloured bitter, some head, hoppy aroma. First taste, sour and soapy, not pleasant (Not sure if it's off or 'spoons have dodgy pipes!)

I picked up a 5 litre bag in a box when I visited the brewery earlier this week. It pours a brown colour with no head. Aroma is quite sweet and malty. Flavour is of malts with a slightly bitter finish. A good traditional ale.
