Man gewöhnt sich im laufe der Jahre immer mehr an dieses Bier. Gestern Abend erst ein paar extrem torfigen Single Malt Whiskys getrunken, da reisst das rauchige Trinkerlebnis heute nicht ab. Sind diese Art Biere aus Bamberg eigentlich schon Kulturerbe?

Ho avuto il piacere di scoprire questa birra visitando Bamberga anni fa. Colore marrone scuro con riflessi rossastri, schiuma beige compatta e persistente. Intenso profumo affumicato, ricorda lo speck, con note tostate e un che di fruttato. Gusto parecchio complesso ma equilibrato, dove alla consueta amarezza finale si sostituisce il sapore netto dell'affumicatura

A very very smokey beer but once you get used the smokiness it's really rather good and the malt comes through along with raisin and date flavours.

Speziell Rauchbier halt wer flüssigen Schinken mag ist bei diesem Bier richtig.
