Very light ale. Easy to drink

As the sun was setting over the River Severn, I finally pulled up outside The Sally on the long route back from Manchester. Sometimes it's all about time and place, and this is a prime example. Back in your local on a lovely evening after a long day with beer awaiting. Perfect. Billabong is an Australian Pale Ale -not an amber as listed here. It's sweet in the right way, with lashings of tropical fruit led by a charge of the mango brigade. This is balanced out by the bitterness in a way that means I'd be happy to drink it day after day. A lip smacking quaffer for those moments when you think....'yep, it's all good' Este - this pic is for you.
