The second beer in our single malt/single hop series is Single Malt Liberty. This beer uses only Vienna malt and Liberty hops for all hop additions. It is the same exact beer as the Single Malt Saaz, but with Liberty hops being used in place of Czech Saaz. Liberty is a U.S. grown hop variety, developed from the German noble hop Hallertauer Mittelfruh. It has a mild, slightly spicy aroma and flavor.
