The food was so salty that I can easily drown another beer. A BIPA for a change.
The beer is lucid but the dark mahogany color tries its best to disguise it. The beer suffers from excessive effervescence, loads of froth must be poured out of the glass to keep it in control. Once a manageable head is formed, it's light sand-hued and very thick moussy. The retention is astonishingly long.
The foamy lid prevents me from enjoying any olfactory nuances. A marginal roasty hint manages to escape from the jail.
The taste gives several flavors: roasted malt, faint licorice, a bit of wood, raw cacao powder, pine resin and grapefruit peel. A classical package again.
The body is incredibly velvety and full. Like a nitro version. Very enjoyable. The end is, also here, very similar to upfront. So don't create, be sedate, be a vegetable at home; and thwack on that aftertaste.
The mouthfeel is full, velvety, smooth, roasty, crisp and medium-piney. It's also effervescent on the negative side. Adorable though.

Oh ce sublime bonbon ! Couleur bien dark ! Nez café, boisé et sucré. Goût sublime d'une dark IPA. Le côté torréfié se sublime, dégustation au top !

Houblon, malt grillé, café, trace de chocolat noir un peu amer, une découverte très agréable ; a recommander
