Solid brown ale. Checks off all the boxes for me.

Found this in the back of my cabinet. Not sure how long it's been there, but it's Saturday and I'm trying all my scary beers. It sounds good but in danger of being old and skanky. High head, thick and frothy, lasting quite a while. Light aroma of dark malt and raisin. Color is a murky brown, like a dark muddy creek. Nice medium texture, a little thin, gentle dark brown ale malt. It's sweet, flowery honey with a dash of brown sugar. A subtle dried raisin blends perfectly with a toasted caramel. Finish adds a very modest bark bitterness that continues long after the sweetness disappears. Found the package date which makes this beer 3 years old. It definitely withstood the test of time. Not sure if the aging changed it substantially but this is damn good.

Has a sweet malt taste with caramel & roasted nuts. Hanging in Peddlers Village
