Nice pale beer to enjoy when you are taking it easy.

Off it these TO OL lot. Cream ale brewed with lemon balm and lemon verbena. It shouldn't work and for me it barely does. Poured very murky to start which seemed to clear slowly. On first taste I didn't like it at all but then it did grow on me slightly. The smell is good, almost smells heavy with orange and citrus fruits. The taste is pure lemons, bitter then slightly sharp then gone. Maybe if the sun gods had blessed the barbecue, the beer gods might have cracked more of a smile. Half a star for the great can though!!

Good news - the rain stayed away for two thirds of the bank holiday - at least in Gloucestershire. I won't bother you with today's strange traditional madness. Needless to say it was great. This is one of the greatest cans of all time - what a great design. The beer tastes like hopped up cream soda shot through with lemon thyme. It's chewy and frothy and smack you in the face refreshing. Having it.
