Clear, gold beer with fizzy, surprisingly hasty carbonation lays an oppressed, white ring of small bubbles. The ring shrinks quickly to almost zero. The nose receives massive sweet lime. Unappealing indeed! The tongue experiences sweet lime juice like a soft drink. I can also detect truly distant green apple, otherwise the gustatory offer is numb. The body is skinny. The drink finishes rather short with the same sweet lime and a sugary twist. The mouthfeel is thin, sappy, significantly soft-drink-like and nicely summery. On the whole, this is simply unappealing. Works though reasonably well with main course Hu Tieu and tapioca dessert of Che Chuoi.
