At £2.09 a steal, golden ale with malt flavours and a lingering bitterness, nice.

A Golden coloured bitter. A sort of grassy taste to it. Not something I think I would pick again.

Was quite looking forward to this being bottle conditioned and with the added American hop too as I'm really feeling American IPA at the moment! It says on the bottle an Aroma of freshly cut grass? ...I don't know what kind of grass they're cutting but it doesn't smell like my grass! In fact it doesn't smell like mown grass at all! (gimmick) It does have a complex flavour I'll give it that but probably too much as the flavours are strong you can't taste what's going on and with it being a dry finish the flavours disappear almost instantly but if you hold it for long enough in your mouth you do get sweetness amongst it all after taste a standard bitter taste, no tiny amount of caramel either, worth a try but wouldn't buy again. Cheers!!

Golden coloured ale, on the back of the bottle it does say that this bitter is full of complex flavours of which it has. Due to it having a dry finish your have to be quick to catch up with most of them. It also says that there are American hops in it, such a shame as with other beers with that style of hops in you would expect a fruity after taste. Sorry to say not with this ale. Cheers everyone.

Just came in from a bike ride and fancied a beer. This was perfect, but may be benefitting from my thirst!
