St Modwen
4.2% Golden Ale / Blond Ale
The patron saint of Burton Upon Trent, Saint Modwen was a 7th century nun who founded the Burton Upon Trent Abbey where it is said beer was brewed and that she produced miracles with the Burton well water. A crisp and refreshing blonde beer, not too bitter with a subtle malted wheat biscuit taste.

Interessantes Geschmackserlebnis. Erst fruchtig im Antrunk und ein leichter Geschmack von Gebäck im Abgang. Außer dass das wieder etwas kohlensäurearm ist (ist hier eben gerne so), gefällt es mir gut

Well worth a second try. Decent floral hoppy aroma. Subtle malt taste with a nice floral hoppy twang. Slight sweetness to finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth, crisp and refreshing session ale.
