A decent chocolate aroma to start with, creamy mouthfeel with a nice chocolate taste. Slight smoky notes and subtle coffee undertones lead to the expected bitter finish, but it is enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale, even at this ABV.

JDW Beer Festival, October 2026.
Rich, malty and slight bitterness. Coffee and chocolate notes. Tasty, enjoyable Porter.

Everything a good Porter should be but pretty creamy too, with dark chocolate & espresso flavours. Brewed for Spoons fest Oct26

Strong full flavour, coffee chocolate malt dominant with a bitter finish.
