Limited edition 39, I'm sure I've had this one before but under a different number. This pour was bizzare, there was lots of fizz but no foam or over flow. It was incredibly loud too. But it eventually settled and left a very light yellow body, with a mild haze and no head or foam whatsoever. Scent is a base of sharp citrus, followed by bucket loads of passionfruit. I mean it is very intense. Not really finding any pineapple, but I'm sure it's there somewhere, even if I can't find it. Mouthfeel is bright, effervescent and sharp. A nice bite and at the beginning there is lots of carbonation but this dissipated through the beers life and it was a little flat by the end. Taste starts with the citrus again, although this time it's a little scaled back. The passionfruit crashes in again and overhwlems much like the scent. The sharp sourness kicks the back of the throat and as the passionfruit starts to settle, sweet pineapple makes itself known and gently carries to the end. A nice sour, nothing groundbreaking but reliable all the same. I really feel passionfruit sets the standard for these, I just wish I had found it while the sun was still shinning.
