4 AUG: Vanilla dominates the nose with chocolate faintly behind it. Surprisingly, the cocoa nibs hit the buds first with subtle coffee undertones then the vanilla. The bourbon makes its presence known on the finish in a gentle way.
7 AUG: tonight when I nosed it, chocolate dominated with the vanilla behind it. On the buds was the same. Only thing I can think of being different is maybe the keg had just been tapped last Tuesday...?
