The second of the My Turn Series, Brad made a Scottish ale. This one pours a nice coppery brown with a rocky, tan head. Brad has a strong aroma of pale malts, some kettle caramelization, and a hint of smokiness. A UK Fuggle hop addition balances the medium-dry, malt-forward flavor from the pale and aromatic malts. In short, this thing oughta tighten the belt on your kilt.
Try Brad with grilled meats to compliment the caramel flavors: a traditional roast pork, smoked salmon, or lamb. It also pairs well with rich, caramelly desserts, like toffee or caramel.
