Birdman Best Bitter
4.2% Bitter
Golden with an Amber Glow like a liquid sunset across the valley, this Light Best Bitter pops a creamy head that smiles at you from the glass. It smells like a cosy malt hug with soft biscuit, caramel, and a sneaky wink of stone fruit just before the Amarillo hops crash the party with zesty orange, tangerine, and a cheeky floral giggle. On the tongue it's light, smooth, and incredibly drinkable. Biscuit and caramel lead the conga line, earthy-spicy English hops keep it grounded, and that citrus lift throws in a cheeky twist. The finish is Crisp, dry, and mischievously moreish the kind of pint that makes "just one more" feel mandatory. As always! Named after the famous Birdman of Morecambe John Wilkinson. Mr Wilkinson hit national headlines in 2014 when he was sent to prison for six weeks for breaching an anti-social-behaviour order to limit his bird feeding habits. Outraged supporters of Mr Wilkinson ran an online campaign to free him. He was an animal lover who did what he could to help the wildlife. Classic, sessionable, and full of personality - a proper pint with a twinkle in its eye and a grin on your face.

Like a good old-fashioned bitter. Malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Subtle caramel notes continue to a subtly sweet finish but are balanced out with a nice bitter aftertaste. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale.
