May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, deserves a Mexican beer. Found one from a great Alabama brewery, Straight to Ale. Stopped and got my dinner at a Mexican food truck I had been wanting to try. Got their Cinco de Mayo special and it looks good. We've all had Mexican beers, so how is this one different? It's not quite as sweet as others, more malt flavor, which I like, and still has that lime flavor in the background. I like that the lime is in the background and not trying to dominate the flavor. This is a pretty good example of the style and I like it and will probably buy more.
