Strong jalapeño smell as soon as it’s opened. The robe is a bit hazy, the carbonation is low, and we have some particles here and there in the liquid. No head. The smell is very powerful as previously mentioned and offers strong jalapeño notes. We also have some more “beer like “ notes of cereal. That’s what we expect! 1 Cereal and jalapeño notes on the attack. .8 Then the jalapeño notes beautifully develop further and we can really feel all the aromas of the jalapeño. .9 The aftertaste burns very gently (I’m very used to spicy food so maybe it would burn more for other people), and offers the same feeling you get after biting in a jalapeño. We also have some cereal notes there. .9 Overall, this beer absolutely keeps its promises!! That’s exactly what I expect from a beer with a big jalapeño on the can: it’s spicy, we can taste jalapeño aromas nicely and we still have some standard beer notes with the cereal dimension. It’s not for everyone and I wouldn’t drink too much of it, but it’s interesting and original. Great beer for the fans of the spicyness!! 1
