The beer portrays a lucid gold appearance. The relatively decent carbonation pushes up a white soapy head that exceeds one finger and pops down bubble by bubble. The scent is somewhat raw: grainy malt, bags of piney hops, maybe a bit of grass, too, as well as grapefruit peel. The taste turns even sharper although the elements remain the same. Grapefruit peel dances a winner’s dance. Undoubtedly. Joined by pith. The grassy shadow grows braver, too. The malty side is still grainy but distinctly weaker now. No change in the end. All in all, a clean profile with a biting hoppy character. The mouthfeel is light, clean, crisp, husky and drying but not actually dry. It's also refreshing. A nice gulper for a warm summer day. A bit sturdier body would certainly boost my rating.
