A traditional style Porter, dark in appearance and offering a complex mix of roast malt and fruit flavours with a degree of sweetness giving way to a dry finish.

Actually had it yesterday evening but forgot to review it. This is more like it. It still has the same details as before, but despite the picture, it is more creamy than before, hence the slightly better rating. Still a boster of a beer, and a good session ale, even at the end of the barrel.

Lovely pint after a nice walk in the sun. Coffee and chocolate aromas and taste with a smooth and full mouth feel. Best pint I've had in a while. Also in a fantastic pub in the village of Enville.

Decent drink. Standard malty aroma. Malty taste with a slight fruity note but can't decide what fruit. As expected it has a slight bitter finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale
